Yesterday, Amber and I went to a horse show! It was
hunt seat equitation.
I am not to bad about my riding position but here in the midwest, its cicada season. (They come back every 17 years) and in my last class, one landed right on my face and almost my eye.
All my friends and my family know I am deathly afraid of bugs, and so is Amber. In our second class, one landed right on her butt and she spooked right before a ground pole. (Thank goodness we weren't in a jumping class!) My foot came out of my stirrup, but we managed to still get fourth place!
In the studio I have been working hard on a tack set (and may have had a breakdown about my leather not cooperating) But guess what!!!
I ordered a Peter Stone design-a-horse! (My bank account regrets this decision.)
I have gotten some new herd members as well, including a lady phase! I have also gotten into more of the photography part of the hobby!
Speaking of photography...
I WON BREYERS PONY CAMP COMPETITION! You can check out my entry on their website! I was in the 17 and under division and I cannot wait to get my Icelandic horse too!
This was a fun state of the studio update, and keep your eyes peeled for another new post soon!
